Phat BMX Bikes

So yesterday Jim and I started working on our bikes that we ride while down in Rolla. So we stripped down our frames and threw pretty much everything away. We sandblasted the frames and painted them with POR15. I also painted my set of forks and crank arms. Then we laid down a $450 order from DansComp. So we will have some solid machines for this year. I think I am going to have a white frame with lots of other things black.

Pics? Anybody see Pics?

I have way too many bikes in my garage right now. I have my old Haro Nyquist cruiser (24" wheel) that I used to dirt jump (I love that bike!). Then I have a Specialized T.J. Lavin - Vegas (Last year he used Specialized) frame and fork set. Frame sold by itself for $400 and I got the whole deal for $200! I knew the guys at the bike shop pretty well. I was in the process of building that up to dirt jump when I moved to Havasu. Now it just sits in my garage (it now has frame, forks, rear brake caliper, S&M stem and sepcialized wheel set). Then I have a beach cruiser that is flat black with flames and big white wall fatty tires. Cool little cruiser. My wife has a cruiser and my oldest has 2 mountain bikes, my middle has a cruiser and a mountain bike and my youngest has her little bmx with training wheels.

I put a bmx bike together out of many bikes, had bars off a huffy, and rims too, black and green it was suprisingly light until I crashed it

What kind of frame and forks? Maxxis makes good tires. I like the Holy Rollers. Work very well in the dirt and still pretty good in the park and on the street.

The frame and forks are both GT. I forget who makes the crank. I will look in a bit.
