Blaster 200

I have soembody offering to sell me an unknown year Blaster 200 for $200. Runs and has new front shocks, seat re-covered, new tires and rims all the way around. It is in good running shape but could use a little work here and there. I have no experience with this quad so ant info is welcome. Thinking about giving it to my 13 year old daughter.

P.S. Has the old style cable driven rear disk brake.

why does this happen to you!? lol! im about to buy a rolling chassis for a blaster for $220, so i think you're doing fine blasters arent great, they are somewhat slow stock, but for a 13 year old girl, i think it would be perfect im sure you know they're 2 strokes, but that doesnt mean they meet the power of a 400 at all!

there not to bad of a quad. all the years they made, they can interchange parts so parts are easy to fine. do it. my gf likes her's. if you wanted to put extra money into it make it wider and a extended swing arm. they roll pretty easy.

I think I will do it. I am definately going to at least put wheel spacers on it to widen it a little.

blasters have decent stock motors but they are light as fook and easy to modify!

My friend has a Baster and it is the 2nd or 1st lightest bike out there. It is reasonably fast for what it is but definitely not sized for a full sized adult. The bars are way too low to stand while riding. Suspension is as much as you can ask from it. I rode it at the track once just to see and I bottomed it out over every single jump even when the face was as smooth as could be. Great for kids.
