god this must be JT's brother!!! LOL
Just curious, but when I come to this site I see what is for sale as being the predominate or initial perception of this site. I thought that this was a moto related forum, not a store. I would like to see more emphasis on dirtbikes in general and not what is for sale by some random unassociated folks. I realize that this is a potential money making effort, but in my opinion, I would come to a site, like this, to gather, exchange information and to share stories, etc. Or even to post various moto related paraphenalia for sale that has been resting in my garage for unknown number of years. Also what is with that the verbiage below the Product Reviews and Places to Ride? I mean really, do we need someone to tell us what a dirt bike is and how fun it can be? Who wrote this stuff anyways? Kinda gives a new meaning to "even a caveman can do it".
Like, is my grandma going to stumble onto this site and then need to figure out what it is by reading this stuff?
I think that you're insulting our intelligence by having stuff like this on the site.
"Dirt bikes are equipped to see you through rough surfaces like dirt and dirt roads. These are
designed for very specific purposes. This is the bike for off-road and high impact riding. This is a
type of motorcycle especially designed for off-road riding. There are several advantages to this type
of motorcycle. One is that it is light weight and easier o maneuver even on uneven ground. The
rugged tires help the driver get through dirt roads efficiently. The tires grip dirt to better
maintain control of the bike. The tires also help drivers from getting off course. Its large wheels
also help drivers maintain ground control. The tires do not slip easily into gaps or cracks on the
ground. These large tires also make it possible for these kinds of bike not to sink in the dirt
especially when the ground is wet and soft.
Dirt bikes are designed to get wheels going even through the roughest of terrains. The engine
is
lighter than usual motor bikes and it is relatively lighter than regular bikes. The weight is crucial
in off-road biking since it helps the driver control the bike better. Its long suspension absorbs
shock gained through driving on uneven ground. The coil springs in the bike absorbs shock by
compressing or expanding. This supports and protects the engine and other related parts when
traveling over irregular surfaces. Dirt bikes are provided with minimal bodywork or design because
extra fairing only slows down movement through difficult terrains. Truly, this is the one to aim for."
