Angry Its getting hot!

You know its HOT when temperatures are breaking records in your area. I am not much of a heat lover hence my northwest location. How many others are having hot weather too?

It has been over 100 everyday for almost 2 weeks here in Havasu. If you go high enough into the hills it cools down a little but still hot. I have rode in 100+ down to 35 degree weather so far this year.

100+ is just to much for me. We used to ride in weather like that down in Livermore. I know it is hotter in Arizona. Then again I guess you all get used to it and hit the trails early. Hitting tracks first thing in the morning right after they are preped and nice and fresh is the best time anyways. No need to stick around for the heat .

We try to hit the trail early but it's still hot. Oh well like you said you get used to it. My buddy is coming out from california on memorial day so we"ll see how well he handles the riding temp?

All the riding i did in the livermore, CA area it gets to be 105+ there all the time. So your buddy should not have to much trouble. Where abouts in California is your friend from?

He is actually from Florida originally so he may have a hard time with how dry it is out here. He lives in San Diego at Camp Pendelton now (He is in the Marines).

I have felt both and I will take 110 with 0 humidity over 80 and 80% humidity any day but the 120+ days can get to you. You We do still get humidity during monsoon season.
