make my own tug strap

what would i need to do it? I know that I will need a strap, but what about that little metal thing where the holes are for the bolt? any ideas? thanks.

im not sure, but i want one too. it seems super useful and what not. idk u could probably just fold the fabric over a bunch of times and melt the bolt hole into the layers. then use some big washers to sandwich it between the subframe and plastic.

okay, I took the strap off of an old duffel bag (as it seemed as if this would be tougher than say off of a back pack) measured it out, poked holes in it, frayed the edges with a torch, drove the bolts through with washers on either side, and attached it, i know it'll hold the bike because i did it. how long it'll last i don't know, but it was basically free.

there you have it, me being cheap.

will do, a hint cut it a little long, so it wont pull through as easy, of course your smart enough to figure that out.
