| Super Moderator  | help me find a bike that never exsisted Hey guys, ive heard about it and looking for more info on one of yamaha's best ideas, that wasnt. The yz500m, I know it exsisted as ive seen pics, but i cant seem to find any info on it at all, some help as google has failed me.

| Administrator  | Well if google failed you so will I  .The Yamaha YZ490 - Motorcycle.Com Those people may have more info but if you used google you found that thread... Or maybe you didnt and I was a little help. The wayback web time machine does not take me back to 1990 so do to the fact I know nothing of this project I will be of no help .The oldest website I found for yamaha is 1995 96 and I cant even get it to work since I am not running the right browser. | Super Moderator | Ill tell you what i do know, it was aluminum framed, had hp ratings off the chart, and would have been a kx and cr eater, they should resurect it!
