New Rules For Giving Rep

Ok here is the rep system as of now. Every member starts off with 10 rep. Everyone that alrdy has rep dont worry about it your rep is not going anywhere.

Now at default a newbie member can only dish out 5 rep points per rep given. But every 10 days you are a member of the forum you gain 1 rep power. For every 100 posts the you make you gain 1 rep power. For every 50 points of rep you get you gain 1 rep power. Reputation from users with less then 20 posts will not count. A user must have 30 reputation for there reputation to count for others. A user can only give out rep 10 times a day. You must give atleast three people rep before you can go back and give the same person rep again. This will keep the system fair yet rep will grow fast! Way faster then before because I decreased alot of values that were over the course of a year and so forth.

Well i think since you are an administrator you follow different rules and you have mass power.

i was confused about the admin thing. i was like, am i an admin now?

Only forums i know of that use reputation to the fullest are tech forums and so forth. I turned it on a long while back cause i like pretty green bars and its another reward for people as they grow with the community.

I think a mod as admin rep power which means you dish it out heavier then normal members when you give someone rep...

Thats a big i think will need to do some reading to be sure

ya, tech forums and this is one so people just have to get familiar with giving rep. maybe one of us should move the rep discussions in this thread to a new thread. i guess i will.
