![]() ![]() | Well I think I fixed it. The o ring around the exhaust manifold was really hard and cracking. It was stuck to the manifold. I think everything is sealed up now. I tie wrapped the rubber where the two pipes connect just in case. It was fun. It was probably the most engine work Ive done. |

![]() | gasket, rubber ring, and grease Take off the pipe, clean gasket surface between head and flange, some flanges have a rubber ring that allows the pipe to grip when it is slid over the surface of the flange. they also recommend grease over the flange, but i dont think thats neccesary. I applied anti-seize to my flange/head bolts, they are in there good and tight. |
