im probably gonna look at it today, how do i drain the gas from my carb before i take it off...on my old xr100, there was just a screw that you turned and it drained out. On this carb, i couldnt find a screw anywhere although there is a drain pipe. Its not like i can start it up and drain the gas.

as long as you turn the gas off first, there wont be much. however, i would try to pull off the gas hose and let it drain.

ok, so i just took off my carb and stuff and see the reed cage. I can barely get in there to see them. How do i pull out the reeds and stuff? There a 4 little screw ends sticking up to keep me from just pulling it right out, but they have no end to unscrew them. How do i know if i need new reeds also? Here are a few pictures.

and my bike (i took the handguards off though and it looks so small in this pic)...
