i called wiseco and they said 52.00 piston kits is the biggest they go and never even been a consideration on going 52.50 even searched several big bore specialty sites and all the big bore kits come with a wiseco 52.00 mm kit if your knowledge of the 52.50 is only from the honda dealer who told you to sleave and plate toss it out the window you can keep looking but i dont think youll find a 52.50

Ask the shop where you are getting the cylinder work done, they might know

.7 mm...

thats .35 on each side of the piston
about 7 human hairs (.002 inches)

i wonder if the plating could be built up so you could use the 52mm piston?

im wondering if the guy at the shop measured the bore right
its its not supposed to be a 52.5 bore wich would use the 52.00 piston
from what i can tell maybe its at 52.7 from wear probably started at 52.5 or less

thought i might try to expain my thoughts better, if it is at 52.7 right now with alot of wear it is probably supposed to be a 52.5 or maybe even 52.3
this is just what i would do i would talk to a machine shop preferably one that specializes in small engines and i would get a 52.00 mm piston and take it in and tell them you want them to match so to speak they will fix that cylinder to fit your piston i mean like the last guy said we are talking a few human hairs here

that width of 7 human hairs is important enough to not have a space that big, especially on a 85, or 113 for that matter, you need all the power you can get

it is, I would not trust that cylinder, now there may be big bore kits, but if its just a bored out stocker its trouble.

he has already resolved that, its bored and strocked to 113, which sound reasonable, they can bore them 15cc over and then stroke for 13cc
