| C Rider | Oil coming out of pipe. There is a oil leak coming out of the beginning of my pipe on my CR250R and it is very annoying. I don't think its trans oil. What do I do? The bike doesn't bog at all.

| Pro Mototips Member | yea this will happen to 2 strokes. but it shouldnt be that bad. hondas have a gasket that goes between the cylinder and the piece thta connects the pipe, have you ever taken all of this off? or maybe the gasket is bad, this is probly the cause because the bike does have some age on it. im not ragging on it or nothing but im just saying, mines the same year, try replacing that gasket and the o rings on the pipe, if it has them and this should help

| C Rider | also is it normal for a 2 stroke to sputter when it first starts up cold? and does cleaning the carbon out of the pipe help the bike run better?

| Pro Mototips Member | when you clean the carbon out of the pipe it opens up your bike a little more meaning that it will have slightly more power but its not necessary if there is more than a 1/8 of an inch of carbon i would run pipe cleaner down the header but your more than likely not going to be able to get it out of the expansion chamber just be cautious of the muffler if your using a drill to spin the cleaner as it could catch on something and ruin it
