| Administrator | rear shock spring, u can get smaller ones. about $100. and if u really need it, u can get shorter springs for your forks.

| Administrator | u cant effectively get 2 inches from that. sag will be way off and the front end will not handle properly either. the best way is to just buy a new rear spring.

| Administrator | if u bring the front forks in then your rear sag will not be proper anymore. then u have to readjust your rear sag. there is a small margin of proper rear sag and if u go outside of it the rear shock will not handle properly. as far as changing the rake of your fork, that involves the cutting and re-welding of the steering neck. like im saying, easiest is a new rear spring. if u are not heavy enough or tall enough for the bike, the easiest way to get your feet on the ground is a new rear spring.

| Administrator | even buying a sweet titanium spring is not more than $100. titanium is a choice material for a spring because it resists fatiguing more so than spring steel and does not become as brittle over time. it also doesnt sag over time.
