CR250 motor swap

In going to put a cr500 motor in my cr250 frame. I just found out about the cr500 with the aluminum frames but people arent selling them cheap so i want to know what year cr500 motor would fit in a cr250 aluminum frame. I figure its alot cheaper to just put one together. Thanks for reading

do they use the same frame for the cr500? i assume either way u will have to weld up new engine mounts so it doesnt really matter what year.

i believe that there is some modifying to do regardless of year.
