wiring

my 1986 XR100R nears completion. Everything is done but the wiring. I have the wire from the stator that splices into two sep connectors then thats all the wiring. I have a new coil and condensor and plug cap. Im looking online but not finding much. It is the points and that is y im confused. Plz help

i need to know how to wire it. i dk how to like what wires hook where, where my ground is things like that

The frame is grounded. Wire from the stator goes to condenser then to the points system. Then the points system goes to ignition coil. There may be a wire with a ring connector on it. This should be grounded. That is pretty much it. I am not sure where the other wire spliced wire from the stator goes unless they just short the stator to kill the bike. A lot of times they just short the wire coming from the points system to the frame via the kill switch.

What else am I leaving out? LOL

maybe a headlight? thats kinda what mine does

the kill switch...

mine does not have points so i can't really help you bud

Ya, if the bike had lights that is what the second wire is for.
