| Administrator | yes, the body is the same as the crf450 is you are talking about the crf250r and the crf450r. i dont know about the trail bikes. i dont know if u can get dual exhaust on different years. try finding a dual exhaust pipe and see what years it fits.

![]() | Its cool to hear your going to buy a crf250, Gratz! The thing about the duel exhausts, tho, is the crf250's seem to run better with a single exhaust. Its a little odd, but it seems that the single exhaust seems to get on the power sooner. Anyhow, I want to say that the 2006 CRF250 subframe is different, from 04-05. The only difference is the mounting bracket for the duel exhaust. You should be able to fit the duel exhaust on another year, but you might need to make a new bracket. Have fun on the crf250! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | on another forum i saw bikes where guys had fitted dual exhausts to bikes other than crfs, one guy even made a xr a twin piper! Be warned however, on the other forum there were rumors of the 250's eating valves alive! |

| Administrator | it just depends, the crf r series using titanium valves which are crap. the xr's use stainless which is super durable. also the crf r series bikes have a more agressive valve angle.

| Administrator | i have been workin on engines for a long long time, well seeing as im not that old "long" may not mean that much. its just what i do and anthing involving car work is super easy also. i have never taken my car to a mechanic. never taken my bike anywhere either and am afraid because most mechanics dont really know that much, plus i just never had the money to pay someone else to do what i could do.
