I was at Daytona bike week a few years back, we were at the Honda tent watching demos from the Honda factory team.

One mechanic brought out a new Honda GL1800 Goldwing and gingerly laid it on it's side.

The Honda Rep asked the crowd for any ladies to volunteer to pick up the bike.

A very Hot mid 20's women came up and volunteered.

The Honda Rep had the Hot Babe walk up to the Goldwing on the bikes low side.

He had her turn around and squat down, she grabbed the handle bar with her left hand and the seat grab bar with her right hand and simply stood up with her back to the bike.

The bike came right up, 980 pounds.

So to answer the original question, yes you can pick up a dropped bike using this proceedure.
so her arms were crossed?

The bike was laying on it's right side.

She walked up to the right side of the bike, turned around.

Her back was against the seat/tank, left arm on the handle bar, right arm on the grab rail.

In the squatted position she stood up leaning against the seat and stood the bike right up.
