What year model XL200 is this? pics--->

My uncle gave me this bike and said he thinks it is an 1982.. I mean it may be but I would like to make sure cause im gonna get some parts for it. All help is appreciated, Thanks guys.

Im not exactly sure, but its definitely early and 82 may be right.

Compare the serial number on the bike to the site below. Hopefully it will help you determine the year. I just bought a project XL200, it's not nearly as nice as yours, but it should be fun.

hey for that header pipe, you can repaint it using krylon bbq paint, it works great and you can pick up a can for about 5 bucks at wal mart.
