Question Buy an Fourtrax
Im about to buy a 1985 Honda 250 Fourtrax that needs alittle work.. just puting on the wiring harness the guy bought a new one just never finished putting it on. hes got everything to put it back together though he's askin 300 for it. should i take it? heres a pic of it

250 are slow... if he has EVERYTHING to make it run properly i would go for it
although it would be very insuring to hear the engine running and ride it

i rode a trx250 and it has good acceleration, but no top speed and no low end. but man, a 250 would be fun for just riding around town and stunting and what not

yeah, 250's have great acceleration, just dont be like that guy and bounce it off of the rev limiter, anyone can hold a front brake and hit the gas, yeah it does look fast. dont worry about not leaving 1st, i wouldnt of either
