![]() | five gallon buckets are commonly used. even better are those steel drums not the 50gal barrell size but those smaller ones. Garages get oil in them and use them for trashcans. Dont know the size. cut a length of heater hose down the middle and line the rim of the opening and the wheel dosent slip. Its taller that a 5gal bucket(about waist high) so you can stand up while working ![]() |

| Administrator | its real nice if u take your 55 gallon drum and weld yourself a section of pipe from the bottom up the same size as the axle. this way u can just slip the tire on the tubing and not have to hold anything. try filling the drum with some sand, gravel, rocks, or whatever big stuff to way it down. personally, i use a 5 gallon bucket and can get a tire off in 5 minutes.
