ya, dohv means 4 valves. the dual refers to each type of valve. in other words there would be no reason to advertise an engine with dual valves or in other words 1 intake and 1 exhaust. therefore if someone say dohv, it means dual intake and dual exhaust.

ahh I see, well I knew that, just not the acronym, its a uni cam 4 valve, uni cam is just dressing up a sohc
and if you notice the only motors the other companys use that our sohc are ttrs and such.

seems like a waste, they not only use a rocker but the engines not a hemi. such a waste.
