   |  Paint what are some of the best paints for: painting your frame repainting your engine what is the best way to strip a engine of its old paint? (without taking it apart) o and btw do you know of any way to fix rusted chrome?

| Powder coating is the only way to go for the engine, and the best way for the frame, although you can do the frame with rattle cans. The quickest way to get paint off is a little bit of brake fluid. no idea on the chrome.

| but if you were to do the motor intact? the baking process would kill the seals/gaskets would it not?

| you should take your engine apart to paint it. however, high temp paint will work. as far as rusted chrome, you need to get it replated. for your frame, either enamel or powder coat.

| i was able to scratch it off fairly easy so dont think it is a magic indestructible paint.

| nothing is indestructable, but pc is alot closer to it than enamel's or whatever.
