![]() | ic, but i mean could someone give me a link to some pics to show me how i would go about turning the numbers up or down? like since the number is on the jet does that mean u have to line the number up with something on the carb? such an arrow or line? |

| Pro Mototips Member | no, the number is just how big the hole on the jet is, you have to switch the jets out, if you get a jet kit it will have like 6 main jets in it, all of these have numbers on them that indicate the size of the jet

| Administrator | You buy individually sized jets which is much more cost effective than a jet kit. They sell these jets at the dealer. However, a jet kit will be good for you because you may not get it first try.

| Administrator | For a pipe and filter you pretty much should touch every setting you have. This involves the main jet, the pilot jet, and the clip on the needle, along with fuel or air screw. However, you are supposed to first get the main jet dialed in and then touch everything else. This sometimes causes you to need to readjust the main jet. All the jets influence each other.
