Help

Hello everyone! This is my first post. I have a 2002 kawasaki kdx 200. I love riding this thing. Well, i have a couple of questions.

What is the best ratio to mix my two stroke oil with. I am using amsoil full sythetic.

MY brake fluid in my front master cylinder keeps leaking out and making the brakes fail. When i go riding somewhere and tie the bike down in my truck, it forces fluid out by the shock into my bed. Any suggestions on where or what is causing my fluid to leak.

What would u recommend for a tire as well. Brand, type, etc

I would recommend 32:1 for the oil.

I would start with the copper crush washers where the hose connects to the reservior

for tires I would recommend the d952 if you have the money.
welcome to the site

well, first of all, WELCOME!!!, uh, if your racing, id suggest to mix 40:1. but for daily riding id suggest 32:1, just make sure your bike is jetted for your mixture.

for a tire, i really dont know much about types but dunlop is a great tire.

id check all of your hoses to make sure they arent leaking

Wow, thanks for the quick responses! I feel welcome already.

I have a dunlop tire on there now and it seemed to hold up well. The person that had it before me road it on the road alot and wore out the knobs on it so they are pretty bald.

So i need to check the washers where they connect at the different hose lines. I was thinking it might be something like this seeing it only leaks when i apply pressure to it.

Okay cool, i dont race my bike but it has some racing parts from frpoffroad.com on it now. Someone upgraded the kickstater, grips, handlebars, and took off all the lights that came from the factory. So ill just stick with a 32:1 mixture then.

I bet two little washers from the kawasaki dealer will cost like $10 bucks a piece! LOL

I got a price for a dunlop tire at the local bike store for $60 and they wanted $40 dollars to put it on if i brought the bike in, and $25.00 if i took the tire off my self. Im not sure what to do, if i should buy the tire and take it somewhere else to get mounted or let them do it.

Im running on a tight budget right now since im 17 and graduating this friday, and about to start college so idk whats the best thing to do.

40 is a rip off no matter what, if your on a budget, check out kenda, they make good tires, perhaps cheng shin.

congrats on graduating, still got another 2 years myself.
