nah, i wouldnt worry about that, unless it contains some kind of booster, octane ratings only mean that the fuel will not explode when compressed. heres how it works.
a high compression engine compresses the fuel to a point before the spark plug ignites and a premature explosion happens, which causes the engine to "ping" higher octane fuel simply contains more of a chemical (octane) which will not allow the fuel to combust when compressed to a certain point. what im saying is basically that high octane fuel is only needed in engines that create high compression,which a 2 stroke doesnt

hey just want to say something i dont recall saying it started after i done the rabuild it was there win i first bot it well he said he didnt run it much and i figured it just needed prokin in it ran fine for a week or to and got bad from here so then i done the rebuild

na i cant om you gonna be on tomorrow i can then but i just recently pulled it had a lot og gas on it and it was a blackish gray color ya im fouling them qiuckly and there a grayish black every time

no you may not all did was ask if it were backfiring in that case it would be running lean, you assumed it was running rich, as i assumed it was running lean, you got lucky either way it wouldve had the same affects, in a different level, but overall the same affects with the exception of backfiring of course

thats no good, running rich for sure. and im not sure if antifreeze could turn your plug grey, but if its what i think it is, your head gasket may be leaking.
