How often change air filter?

I have a 04 DRZ 250 and i havent changed my air filter since i got it in 05' so I was wondering if its about time to change it and wut kind of filter should I get,i just put an FMF powercore 4 pipe on it.

... yea change it or at least clean it...

normally you clean it every 3 rides or so

Oh... I clean my filter after every ride. I would sure change it or do something about it.

Clean it after every ride. Atleast we used to... Buy a new one every 4 - 6 months.... We used to have a few so we could just swap them out especially on those super dusty days

Ya, I have been known to clean my filter at lunch time before. Like at the dunes; Jim, Logan, and myself cleaned our filters at lunch. God that sand is sure bad. I remember those days.

time for me a new filter too. my outside filter is pretty much disenegrated from too many gas cleanings :O

Why dont you use no toil cleaners... And they are biodegradable
