Full Bike Rebuild

well my frames out to powder coat today, thanks to Microfinish and all the generous people there. told them i didnt need it back anytime soon seeing as i wont be riding for 2.5 months. being painted black.

well finally back to work this thursday, so the money is coming in. now i just need to save up $1500 lol. also will be selling a full set of plastics for my bike with a factory effex graphics kit. also will be selling a white gripper seat, a brand new acerbis rear fender, and brand new stock radiator shrouds. i will post a link once there up or pm me if you are interested.

Believe it or not, there are not that many parts to a bike. These are just a few of the pics, I can only upload 5. If anyone wants to see a specific part picture just let me know. This is my second teardown of this bike, so I know whats up if you need some info. I'll post more pics as I do other things.

finally im moving forward a bit on my bike. will be picking up the frame from powder coat this week. i will get pictures up as soon as possible. also rear suspension is rebuilt and repacked after a complete teardown. everything you can polish has been polished. i polished my subframe to a mirror finish with some steel wool and sand paper. my full yoshi exhaust has been polished back to its shiny stainless steel color and the muffler was polished and packing was checked. then the most fun ever, i took every bolt to the wire wheel on my bench grinder and polished them all back up and took any junk off the threads. also rebuilt pet**** and cleaned filter skin on the tank after buffing the tank plastic. my porting and polish job is done too, i will try to get pics up of that too. now once i get the valves ill send my head out for a 5 angle valve job perfectly matched to my soon to be kibllewhite valves and springs. ya everything is cleaning up good, i just dont have the money to get the parts i need yet. should be soon though, i cant wait to be tearing it up again with a 50hp engine between my legs. anybody want to donate any cash to the cause? lol also heres the links to some things i have on ebay eBay Motors: RMZ250 Polisport New Radiator Shrouds RM-Z250 KX250F (item 270110548839 end time Apr-22-07 20:39:56 PDT)

also if you are interested in a gripper seat, a front fender, or a rear fender let me know! also i have a lot of used parts that still have a lot of life in them, just not up to my standards, yet i see parts way worse go on ebay. let me know if you need a quick fix part for your 2004-2006 RMZ250 or 2004-2005 KX250F. i may just have wat you need and pretty much watever it is will be around $10.

well i havent had time to get my frame yet, but i bought my first part today. a full set of kibblewhite stainless steel valves and springs plus titanium retainers and keepers. first step!!!!!

i got my frame and its awesome thanks to Microfinish Co, Inc. - Leaders in Zinc Plating & Powder Coating its the most durable paint out there, an experimental black paint. plus they do special stuff to the frame to increase the surface area threefold for better paint adhesion. i will get pics up soon. plus i bought a Vortex clutch basket. its real nice and for only $150 its a great deal. so i need some help though, does anyone know where i can get valve seats cut? i really need it and i cant find anyone with a .175" pilot which is what my stems are. so if anyone knows a guy let me know. still to come on is a JE 13.5:1 piston, Mooose dust and oil seals for the forks, Barnett pressure plates and stiffer springs, Renthal 46t rear, DID gold series chain, Hot Cams intake and exhaust, White Bros custom chain rollers, and plenty of other needed fixes. plus plenty of fluids. ya itll be running great after that.

So here are some pics of the frame and my new Vortex basket. I got that installed today after making a homemade clutch inner hub holder. I didnt want to pay an excessive price for a random tool so since i was getting new pressure plates i took all the steel plates and linned them up and welded them together. I then made a fork thing that was welded to a handle. i welded the plates to the handle and in a few minutes had everything all apart. i also worked on a few other electrical problems. I cant really put anything on the frame because the engine goes in first and i am still waiting on parts and cash. valves should be here soon. also on the receipt of items purchased is a new Pro-Circuit high flow water pump cover, so i now can change the oil without draining my coolant. i also bought a few random things like a high pressure radiator because i have had over heating trouble in the past. i also picked up a new Sunline throttle cable and a full Kevlar Barnett clutch kit and springs. i am slowly getting parts and hopefully it will be running soon. ill try to get more pics up soon.
