    it says on that engine cover 'Made in Japan'
    u can see it in the 1st pic i posted, so.... no. I dont think it chinese.
    i already have a donor engine, but its a zongshen 125cc 4 stroke, and all my other bikes r 4 stroke, so i wanna get this 2stroke engine running if i can.

    yeah definetly jap bike! the guys store he has tons of thing, but i honestly didnt see what you ar looking for maybe if you like you can check it out and see if you see anything at all or some alternative.

    i dont think its that because our mate davius said it has made in japan on the side. i hate to say that if he cant find it a new engine is inevitable

    cheers m8, I really appreciate it.
    I just took the engine cover and the part I'm after to the local motorcycle mechanic, and he said in his 40 yrs experience he's never seen anything like it!
    He also told me the engine number doesnt really help either.
    So basically unless you's know of another forum i could try this is my last resort!
    It might just end up in the scrap pile over a little gear selector!
    I also took these pics to show the mechanic... dont think they'll help but it can't hurt!

    I basically had the same results with the guy i sent the photos to! Its a damn shame that you can use that motor, because of that! hell make one! haha

    I cant find anything on the web, except your post on Aussie mini rider forum. sorry brother!

    seems that that brank of fly wheel is on a lot of ktm
