| Administrator | even myself, the cheapest guy ever, i cant consider ever doing my own suspension work like that. they have lots of computers and bench testing that ensure a perfect revalve for your weight and riding style. they take so many factors into account and have lots of fancy computers. they even do flow tests to ensure the valves are perfectly matched and that the forks respond perfectly as a pair.

| Administrator | u can definately do it yourself, i was just suggesting that if u wanted a ridiculously good setup then i would send it to a big company like them.

| A Rider | Out here in the desert me and my buddies use Maxxis IT tires. Good and aggressive but will still give you more than just a couple of rides. Don't know your riding area too well but a steering stabilizer is tops on my list of goodies. It's no fun when your bars go sideways in top gear! |

| Administrator | wopstar, how do those maxxis tires handle the dirt? i have been looking at them and think they are going to be my next tire purchase.

| A Rider | I have them front and back on my bike and I get just about every terrain possible from rocks to sand to gravel and dirt (mostly hardpack) If you ride some less aggressive terrain you may go with the Maxxis ST (soft terrain) but I don't think they last as long. I have a couple of buddies that race on the Maxxis IT and they love it. I would reccomend it to anyone. |

| Administrator | ya i would get the ST, even if that was what i was riding in. i want my tire to last as long as possible and with all the hp im throwing down at it i dont get much life to start with. how much did u drop for those tires?
