k so a 150 is a 4 stroke and is not the same as a 125 2 stroke. heres the rundown: a 125 2 stroke is comparable to a 250 4 stroke and a 250 2 stroke is comparable to a 450 4 stroke. dont be fooled, more displacement doesnt equal more hp. dont buy the 150, get the yz125. they are a solid reliable bike.

i would check out a yz125, rm125, cr125r, or a kx125. any year is good, these bikes have been around for a while and are solid.

I know price is an issue, but maybe if you do good in school an aluminum framed yz125 will appear under the Christmas tree!

Not trying to be a smart !@# just thinkin, the aluminum framed bikes are way better than the old steel, but i would get the yz, they have been the top 125 for quite some time now, my money would be on them being the last 125.

k so aluminum really didnt do that much, they shaved wat 3lbs off? the old yz125's were 199 and now they got them down to 196. my rmz250, steel version is 204lbs and aluminum is 203lbs. ya 1lb. but weight is weight.
