lol good story i have a mig as well but no tig... i think that my weld are descent...
did you get the makeshift tig to work?

weld tig mig fig or stick

and yes i agree on that very much so and it is a lot more interesting than drilling a hole and using a bolt lol

just make sure you use plenty of sun block if you weld for a long time... good way to get a tan FAST

o dont get me started. welding burn twice and numerous sun burns on my face and arms. plus plenty of regular burns. i swear i am safe. however i once was welding on a dock.... all my cables were draped through the water and i was welding on the side of it. when i got done welding, i leaned back up and water poured out of my mask. thats real safe there. one other time, me and my buddy were welding on a carburetor... enough said, big fire. idk its all good.
