However, I do not notice any narrowed vision and they flow super good and you don't get hot as long as you are riding.

If you get yourself a good helmet you wont have any heating issues. Also narrowed vision? What are you talking about... You can still see everything you can see without. Do you not where goggles either? Never had the expierence of riding some nice singletrack and coming around a blind corner only to nail a branch right across your head. I love helmets. I love all safety gear. I can give a reason for everything out there even your kidney belt you wear! Its just all goes along with riding and it what keeps it expensive is keeping yourself safe.

I love being able to take a branch to the face. One of my favorites because it does nothing with a helmet on.

I thank all my gear for when I am out trail riding trying new hills and stuff the few times I have crashed wrong and rolled all the way back down the hill :O. That would not feel good in just jeans and a tshirt LOL

I did a front flip over my bike over the side of the pretty much cliff halfway down the other side. It would have been cool if I would have landed the hill climb. I hit a huge hill and had to drive on the side of the hill to clear a tree root. I whipped the bike once I was in the air but didn't land it right. Sorry I can't explain it at all. It was cool though.

gogles restrict you vision a lot more than a helmet...
if i am wearing my helmet i can just barely see the edges (and the eye doc said that i have more peripheral vision then most people)
