whats the main diff in the two and four strokes? when i first started looking i thought for sure four stroke, since thats what all bikes are going towards. but now i'm leaning towards a two.

also what year should i be looking for? for example if i was buying a used GSXR 600 i wouldn't want to buy anything before 2004 since they made a lot of improvements after that. Or if i was buying a ZX 6r i wouldn't get anything before 06. What about for dirt bikes?

id get a 2 stroke, less maintainence, lighter, and in most cases faster. a four stroke will have more bottom end, cost more to rebuild, and will cost way more to buy.
dont worry about the year really, they upgrade bikes every year, but my 1994rm125 has no trouble keeping up with my cousins friend's 2007rm125
