Oil Change time

Im sure this is an ongoing discussion, but what type or brand of oil should I run in my 1999 YZ 400F?

Thanks again for the input.

I run Maxima SynBlend 10w30 with a stainless steel reusable filter. Oil stays perfectly golden for many rides.

Do you know of any place on line I can download a manuel for my bike? Or is it something I need to order from the local dealer? I need oil levels for the forks, crankcase etc...

you can download one for free from yamaha's european website.

I personally run bel ray or yamalube 10 50 depending on what I can get my hands on.

Ya, you can find manuals all over the internet. Sometimes just takes a bit of looking to find a good one.

How close is a 2000 WR400 to my 1999 YZ 400? I found some manuals but nothing for 1999 only 2000 and up.
