i wonder if you could put oil coolers on newer bikes...
my bike has external pressure lines so maybe you could
that way it would cool the head but stay thin for the tranny and crank

yes, you could change gearing but that does not give you any more hp, it only modifies what the hp is transformed into. he was looking for cheap mods that give more hp to the bike than what it had stock.

i know that mate just thinkin of cheap way of getting the bike 2 b a bit faster of the start will lose little of top end i would say start with back end of exhaust if he can take inside of exhaust out depend on exhaust & wrap it put it back in that should help abit when i had my suzuki dr250r it was a trails bike on road sorted it out for off roadin 2 make the bike go faster i put honda 04 back box on & played with the sprockets gave the bike abit more ball's didn cost that much 2 do & its not 2 much messing around 2 do

um, i realize this thread is old but somehow i didnt see it. you want to to start with the front of your exhaust, not the back. that would be bad. you want to wrap all the piping all the way up to the muffler. this will keep temps up higher making gases flow faster and more efficiently.

turtle should just sell both of those, or part them out, and buy a new bike
