might keep your block just a little cooler? and if you go down keep from burning a hole in your leg thats about the only reason i could think why maybe to keep the gases hot so they flow better, no?

so the reason to wrap your header is to keep it hotter. gases flow faster at a hotter temp so the hotter you can keep it the better flow you will get. thats why people get things ceramic coated.

yes. i would sugest it if you are looking for some random cheap hp gains. you may gain up to 1/2hp its more of a concern on car since their exhausts are much longer. if you are going to wrap though, do it all the way back, not just the header.

so youre looking for cheap mods? port and polish, its free! you can gain a fair amount of hp from this, such as 2-3hp. next is keeping your bike as cool as possible. anything you can do will help. granted bigger radiators cost lots but you can try cheaper things such as engine ice or a similar waterless coolant. idk just a few things to think about. also pretty much polishing every internal part helps. polish your cylinder head inside.
