if yr bushin hav gone on forks could they cause them 2 leak oil broke my forks down 2day cos they were leakin . oilseals & dust seal look new but upper bushin hav gone im not that clued up on forks

well, if the bushing rubbed on your forks enough to wear them at some points oil could leak. otherwise a worn bushing itself cannot cause an oil leak. if your forks are rubbed down, then you have an expensive job on your hands otherwise its just the oil seals. here is a how to article on replacing the fork seals.

well, the bushings allow your fork tube(the shinny part) to slide freely. if the bushings coating was rubbed off then it can start to "scratch" the tube. this will make the tube appear dull.

with u now u can see the copper on them one tube has like burn marks on it please dont tell me i need a new one if u need 2 lie then lie lol

well, you should never be able to see the brass on the bushings, they should be completely coated in a frictionless material. were you saying that the fork tube had the bluish burnt heat tempered look to them? if so, that may be just a little bad. lol ok so a lot bad.
