There has been alot of controversy about the Amp Link. Whether it works or whether it doesnt. My banshee came with one of these billet, nice looking contraptions, but I have not gotten to use it until now. The basic idea is to let the tension of the chain be released into the sprockets. Take your front brake, give it some gas, and let off of the clutch. Your suspension will buckle and heighten. The Amp Link takes this principle away, allowing for more traction and a harder acceleration meaning more of a chance at the hole shot. When I first put mine back on there were a couple things that needed modified. The flywheel cover gets in the way, so the outer edge must be trimmed. It takes nothing to do though as it is made of plastic. One more thing is that the chain needs an extra link to do this. I can say it did make an improvement on acceleration, the suspension feels like you are not even under load even at full throttle. This design definitely works and the traction is unbelieveable. I find myself hooking up better than my competitors even though my tires are almost gone. The Amp Link is available for the Blaster, The banshee, The Warrior, The 300EX, And the Trx250X. Rumor has it that we will be seeing a 400EX version soon.
Overall this product does what is says, and is better than stock, so I give that a 10.
