use fiberglass epoxy i have heard it works the best
but and hard glue that will bond with plastic

01 yz 125, FMF Fatty with a Power core 2, Renthal Fat Bars, tag trees,work connection frame gaurds&skid plate&radiator gaurds. Vforce3 reeds. may 08/09 some sort of 250f here i come

perhaps by the time he has his shift shaft in the rm will have caught up?

and tdb, try ebay for a fuel tank, or trim some small pieces off an old piece of plastic and melt them into the crack.

WR, if this epoxy stuff doesnt work (its drying at the moment) i will do what you said i never thought of that lol. o ya instead of racing this weekend im going to a KTM demo/open practice. its cool i pay 20 bucks and ride KTM's from 10 till 3 then whenever im done with that im going to practice, it should be a good day as soon as i get my blue machine up and running.

idk if you should weld your shift shaft on TDB, you will have to get a new shift pedal anyway cuz you cant weld steel to aluminum, and plus you will have to use a torch to cut it off if you have to take it out, possibly damaging the aluminum cases, and most def melting the rubber seal that goes arounf the shaft when it enters the case. they are like 30 bucks, it is worth 30 bucks to fix this

i wasnt going to weld anything. i got a steel shifter from my sponser for free. so if that doesnt work then im just going to have to tear into it and replace some stuff.

you don't have to use a torch....
use a grinder to take the weld off
but you are correct about the aluminum... i forgot my bikes all steel lol

yah, use a heat gun or something, it wont be pretty and it may not work, but its worth a shot
