Baja Trip

I was thinking of going down to baja and renting a bike and doing one of there tour things. Has anyone ever done this? Can you tell me about it

I had some family that have done it. I wished I could have went hopefully they will hop on and tell you about it.

Yep, baja...... What can I say. I LOVED IT!!!!!! My father an I did a tour with " Baja Bound" (adventures) , and wow! Everyone down there is super cool! Our guide leader, Tim, really knows about all of baja. It so fun, and worth it to do it. We rented bikes, and they were great!! Its something everyone must do!! I could go on and on with detail, but that would take hours. You just have to experience it!!!!!

Tim Morton is a Baja 500 and 1000 racer and frequently a champion of those races. He knows Baja better than anyone and will definitely take care of you and show the best time! You will also ride where most others do not, so keep that in mind while making your decision who you should go with. We rode about 450 - 500 miles on the 1st 3 days, then another 45 or more of single track on the 4th day. We rented bikes and it was about $1800 with renting CRF450X's. This is a MUST DO for anyone!

Check on line for issues related to people getting jacked or robbed.
I've heard there are people not doing the Baja 1000 for those reasons.

yup, and the mexican locals build make shift jumps that riders arent aware of

Dirtbikenut and mx4fun were both there and had no troubles. I know them personally as they are family... If these concerns are out there your tour guides should be aware and able to keep you safe
