Talking Newbie here...
Hi all ! My name is Scott and I live in N. Illinois. I'm new to this site and am the owner of a 1978 Suzuki PE175 that needs a bit of work. I am also looking to get a newer RM250 and was curious about how to make it street-legal in the State of Illinois (if possible) since I work close to where I live.

yes, the old bikes always need work unfortunately

you more than likely will need turn signals, a brake light, head light, and horn

a speedometer is nice to

I think that Illinois bikes have to have

a) Brakes in front and back.
b) Turn signals and brake, head and tail lights.
c) Two mirrors and a horn.
