if your going 4 stroke id go with the 230 and take it easy at first easier to buy a bigger bike and take it easy then buying a little bike and wanting to trade it out in 6 months

Well the only cheap bikes i can find around here are two-strokes that need fixing and its alot cheaper to fix and buy two-stroke parts. I dont think the seats sit as high on the older bikes either, the new YZ125 seat is almost 40 inches high which is abit crazy if you ask me.

that is normal whith all the other bikes, once you get up to the big bikes they are a physically really close to the same size

the newer bikes are that high mostly to get extra ground clearance and make more suspension travel easier

Well guys great news someone wants to buy my 80 so basically i can afford a nice bike now. There is a 99' YZ125 going for $1200 and im almost 100% this is the bike and its in great condition. So depending on when my 80 gets sold maybe this week ill put some pics up of the new bike. Also we are looking into a motorcycle organization 10miles from our house they have a private facility mx,trials, and trails so i cant wait.
