we will see after you have to take the cams out to do it, then make sure you got it timed right, then find out that your shims were the wrong ones. hmmm, a day gone by.
Id rather have an xr400r, one of the best bikes ever imho, and dirt rider agrees.

thats alright wr, its just personal preference. honestly id rather have an ass load more power and work on it more than have much less power and work on it less

not talking about you, ive seen it happen on tt though, dude buys a ratty xr, pulls the dip stick, no oil in sight, fills it up, starts and runs perfectly for years to come.
the xr engine was built to handle much more power than it puts out, which is why it is so reliable.

im not sure thats the bikes fault, long wheelies will kill a modern thumper too, the angle prohibts flow of oil to the top end.

idk, im sure your right, but how come i cant hold it up for 15 seconds at a time, while this guy can on a less reliable bike?
