DAZMC is on a distinguished road
mid life crissis

recently bought a 2005 ktm sx 250, use it every two weeks. really need some riding tips, its a beast. had few scary moments.........

Didn't say your age but I'd get every bit of ride gear on, older ya get harder it is to get up! Seat time and ride your limit were very good tips! and if you ride with others that are better let em go and do your own thing! There are some how to threads on the site that are really worth looking at! Have fun and welcome to the site!
Also pages 8 and 9 in the video gallery has some good how to's

I agree. Get as much time on the bike as possible. You may be surprised at how fast you start to get used to the bike. They are amazing but they can get you hurt fast if you don't respect them. But don't be afraid either. Pretty fine line between respect and fear.

Also try to find a riding partner that is close in experince to you. That way you can push each other without exceeding your limits.
