new rider...what bike to get??

I'm looking for a dirt bike but am wondering what a new rider should get. I'm about 6 ft and 180 lbs. im worried that a 250 would be too powerful and a 125 will be too small.

ya, i would try a 250 four stroke. many grown men are fully satisfied with these bikes. i weigh about 130lbs and am 5' 10" and my bike has no trouble. suspension is great on these bikes and power is unbelieveable. even though, i eventually plan to move up to a 450. check out a few 250's though and see what u like. i would suggest u get a four stroke though, they have power right from clutching in all the way to the rev limiter. (full power by the way). where as a two stroke has almost no power until a small powerband then the power drops right back down again. idk its just rider preference.
