Some of the most hyped and ace supercross riders of GECIO Honda racing team will be present at the opening match of the 2012 GEICO AMA EnduroCross series to be held at Las Vegas on 4th May, 2012 i.e. a night before the supercross finals at Las Vegas on 5th May, 2012. The top five riders of GEICO Honda viz. Justin Barcia, Eli Tomac, Kevin Windham, Justin Bogle and Will Hahn will appear at the opening round. Apart of them, the top most EnduroCross riders along with the entire GEICO Honda team will also be present at the venue and they will be signing off autographs for the fans.
There are only four matches left in the 2012 season of the AMA Supercross series. The 14th match of this season will be played this Saturday at the famous Mercedes-Benz Superdome of New Orleans, Louisiana. While the 2012 Supercross Lites Class series will be wrapped up at Las Vegas on 5th May, 2012, the GEICO Honda racing team has two of its ace riders lined up in contention for the title of the Supercross Lites Series. Justin Barcia of team GEICO Honda dominated the entire series of 2012 Eastern Regional Supercross Lites Class series and is on a roll to capture the title as well. On the other hand, Barcia’s teammate, Eli Tomac has registered three victories in the Western Regional Supercross Lites Class series.
Both Barcia and Tomac along with Kevin Windham, Will Hahn and Justin Bogle will be present at the opening match of the 2012 GEICO AMA EnduroCross tournament which will take place a night before the Supercross final match at Las Vegas on 5th May, 2012. While the Supercross finals will be held on Saturday, the GEICO AMA EnduroCross event is scheduled to be held on the previous Friday night. All the five riders will be cheering and supporting for Geoff Aaron, Keith Wineland and Kevin Rookstool, who are their counterparts of team GEICO Honda in the EnduroCross tournament. The top most EnduroCross riders along with the entire GEICO Honda team will be signing off autographs for their fans at the famous New Orleans Arena commencing from 7:00 PM on 4th May, 2012.
When asked about his special appearance at the EnduroCross opener at Las Vegas, Justin Barcia quoted, "I am really very excited to attend another EnduroCross event. I have always wanted to experience this extravagant race. Last year, I almost had a chance to perform in it but the Honda guys didn't wanted me to get hurt by doing this and stopped me from riding. It’s great to see that the GEICO Honda EnduroCross series is growing because of being something really different and the fans really like it a lot. I’m sure people will definitely like it once they check out the event. The event is really awesome and seems crazy with lots of varied obstacles being put out there on the track. All these factors make it very enjoyable."
