In the current Motocross standings of the 250cclites class, Blake Baggett of Kawasaki racing teamleads the points table with 222 pointsunder his belt. Justin Barcia of team GEICO Honda follows Baggett at the second position with 209 points.GEICO Honda’s Eli Tomac and Red Bull KTM’s Ken Roczen are tied at the third position with 200 points each.
The Budds Creek MX Park of South Maryland, Montgomery County witnessed some valiant racing performances last weekend during the fifth match of the 2012 Lucas Oil AMA Pro MX Championship. The thrill and excitement of the event saw no bounds especially during the main event of the 250cc lites class category match. Both the moto matches during the 250cc lites class event saw some spectacular performances from some of the top riders of the world and to top them all, there was Blake Baggett of team Kawasaki who emerged out as the overall winner of that night with a score of 2-1. The Motocross standings for the 250cc lites class event saw several changes after the completion of the Red Bull Budds Creek National as many riders were able to add up some significant points to their tally.
At the top of the current MX standings of the 250cc litesclass, there is the champion of the last weekend’s Motocross event, Blake Baggett of Kawasaki racing team. The rider from Grand Terrace, California is leading the points table with 222 points.Following Baggett at the second position in the current MX standings, there is Justin Barcia of team GEICO Honda with 209 points under his belt. Ever since the opening match of this season of outdoor dirt bike racing, both Barcia and Baggett seemed to the toughest competitor of each other in the racing arena. On several occasions, Barcia was able to walk away with the victory surpassing Baggett, while on some other instances Baggett had the upper hand over Barcia. However, Barcia still needs to try hard to climb over Baggett in the points tally as Baggett has a lead of 13 points over him.
Coming back to the third position in the Positioned at the third spot in the current MX standings of the 250cc lites class category, we have a tie between Eli Tomac of team GEICO Honda and Ken Roczen of team Red Bull KTM. Both the riders have 200 points each in the points table and are currently the second runners-up. At the fourth position, there is Marvin Musquinof team Red Bull KTM with 153 points while Wil Hahn of team Honda rounds up the top-5 of the current MX standings with 130 points to his credit. Suzuki’s Blake Wharton still needs to catch up with the rest of the players as he is at the seventh position with 102 points under his belt.
