The duo went on to set two world breaking records at the Red Bull New Year No Limits, held in San Diego California on 1 Jan 2012. A whopping 300 feet over water, saw Maddison on his motorbike, and Lavalee on his snowmobile flying side by side. Maddison jumped 391 feet and lavalee made it to 412 feet.
KTM 2012 450 SXF
It does not really matter if you are a supercross champion, or just a motocross lover, there is a bike to please you. Launched recently was the KTM 2012 450 SXF. Motocross lovers and fans of Red Bull /KTM multi champion rider, Ryan Dungey are definitely going to see him make this the bike of his choice at the Monster Energy Supercross championships. Dungey has fast gained a reputation of being one of the best riders Motocross has ever seen, and now with RED bull/KTM he is all geared up for the 2012 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Season starting on Jan 7th.
Kawasaki Team Pep Rally
The supercross season has commenced with a unique ceremony courtesy Kawasaki motors corp. As per tradition, just before the championships, there was a grand meeting off all championship riders along with Kawasaki employees. Kawasaki president handed out awards and championship rings to its serving riders including Dean Wilson, Broc Tickle and Ryan Villopoto.
Monster Energy Supercross
This year will be the 38th season of Monster Energy Supercross. The championship race will be kicked off at Angel Stadium in Anaheim California. Incidentally, Anaheim will be creating a record for hosting a class supercross for the 56th time. It is reputed to be the track where a number of records have been broken. Come Jan 7, 2012 and Anaheim will witness Kawasaki champion rider Ryan Villopoto defending his title against some of the worlds best riders. If Villopoto wins the opening race, he will have become the sixth rider in history to do so.
This year’s monster energy supercross has a bonus for its fans. Top championship riders will be meeting fans for autographs and photos between 5 and 7 pm. Featured amongst them will be the likes of Ryan Villopoto, Ryan Dungey and Kevin Dunham in addition to many.
