Justin Barcia Dominates 2012 Denver Motocross Event

The third match of the 2012 Lucas Oil AMA pro MX Championship was played last weekend at the renowned Lakewood race track of Thunder Valley, Denver, Colorado. In the 250cc lites class category, Justin Barcia of team GEICO Honda was dominating throughout the event and finally walked away with an overall victory in that night. He was able to acquire the holeshot award in the moto-I race and showed great racing skills too.

Riding on his factory built Honda CRF250R bike, Justin Barcia of team GEICO Honda delivered great heroic acts in the 250cc Lites Class category racing event of the 2012 Lucas Oil AMA pro MX Championship last weekend. Barcia seemed to be completely dominating the entire race track of Lakewood and was untouchable throughout the race. Apart from the GEICO Honda racing team, the night was pretty joyous for the Honda Muscle Milk racing team as well. Some of their top class riders were able to deliver decent performances that night and acquired respectable positions too.

When the main event of the 250cc lites class category kicked off, Justin Barcia seemed impressive right from the start of the match. Not only was he able to acquire a strong start to his race, but also gained a superb speed. He then gained the holeshot award in no time. He immediately took the leading position in the race leaving behind all his competitors. He then cruised towards victory in the moto-I race. In the second moto race too, Barcia was able to get off to an amazing start. He then shifted gears and made some good passes to acquire the leading position once again. Barcia was then overtaken by Honda’s Blake Baggett halfway down the race which compelled him to settle at the second position. Barcia was then awarded an overall first position in the race.

Justin Brayton of team Honda Muscle Milk was able to deliver a pretty solid performance at Denver Motocross event. In the qualifying race, Brayton had an impressive ride and qualified at the sixth spot for the main event that particular night. In the first moto race, he had a ninth spot finishing while in the second moto race, he bounced back and rode well to finish at the sixth spot. He was awarded an overall seventh spot finishing in the main event of the 450cc Class category.

Tommy Hahn, the teammate of Justin Brayton and another ace rider of team Honda Muscle Milk, was able to acquire a great start in the main event. In the first moto race, Hahn was kicked off with a great speed and acquired the holeshot award in a flash. He was having a pretty decent ride in the moto-I race until facing a bad crash halfway down the race. He got immediately grounded after the crash and sustained some injuries. He was then rushed for initial medications and evaluations. He could return back that particular night and was unable to finish the race.
