In the eastern Regional Supercros Lites Class series, the fans were overwhelmed by a high voltage drama which saw Ken Roczen of team Red Bull KTM snatch away the victory from the mouth of GEICO Honda’s Justin Barcia right at the final moments of the race. As the series heads to New Orleans, another similar fight is again expected to take place on upcoming Saturday too.

The 14th match of the 2012 AMA Supercross series will be held at the renowned Mercedes-Benz Superdome of New Orleans, Louisiana this coming weekend and the expectations are high form this match too. In the eastern regional Supercross Lites Class match, though Justin Barcia seems to be the favorite, but Ken Roczen and Blake Wharton will definitely try their level best to turn thing s upside down. Preview of 2012 Supercross East Class MatchAt Houston too, Justin Barcia seemed to register another win and was cruising towards victory just as soon as the gates for the main event dropped. By virtue of his awesome start to the match, Barcia was able to gather some momentum. The only threat that Barcia had was in the form of Ken Roczen who was on that particular day riding exceptionally well. Roczen acquired the Nuclear Cowboys Holeshot award in a flash and was in the leading position in the first lap. Barcia, who was behind Roczen initially, overtook him in the second lap and then went on to maintain the lead till the last lap.

Term it Barcia’s bad luck or whatsoever, Barcia got himself entangled in the final lap with another rider in the race track and immediately crashed to the ground. Gaining on this opportunity, Roczen took the lead and went on to score his first victory in this season. Let’s see whether Roczen again runs lucky at New Orleans too.  Meanwhile, Blake Wharton of team Suzuki and Blake Baggett of Kawasaki racing team who were unfortunate to miss out on their chances to capture a victory at Houston, will try to bounce back at New Orleans and deliver some scintillating performance.
