The famous Spring Creek Motocross Park of Millville, Minnesota was the host to the seventh round of the 2012 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship last weekend. In the 450cc class event, Ryan Dungey of team Red Bull KTM scored his fifth consecutive win of this season. He had a completely dominating outing throughout the event and swept away victories in both the moto matches. While he took the top podium position, Mike Alessi of team MotoConcepts Suzuki captured the second position with a 3-2 score in the motos. Kawasaki’s Jake Weimer captured the final podium position with a 2-3 finish in the motos.
The seventh round of the 2012 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship was played last Saturday night at the famous Spring Creek Motocross Park located in the city of Millville, Minnesota. The event was a houseful event with completely jam-packed stadiums. Fans gathered together in thousands to witness the seventh major outdoor dirt bike racing event of this season at the 2012 Spring Creek National. The MX round turned out to be a spectacular one for the Red Bull KTM racing team and the fans of Ryan Dungey as he kept his winning streak going at the Spring Creek National too. Dungey registered his fifth consecutive victory in the 450cc class category round of this season of MX Championship at the Spring Creek Motocross Park. While the winning streak of Dungey won’t seem to end anyway soon, the ecstatic Red Bull KTM racing team seemed celebrating hard after the post-match events. It was also an eye candy for the thousands of fans of Dungey as they got to witness their hero score his fifth straight win LIVE at the stadiums.
The Spring Creek National was a very special one for Ryan Dungey and it meant a lot for him too. It was for the first time this summer that he was riding in front of his home crowd. So, the pressure of a brilliant performance was already on him along with the pressure to keep his winning streak going. Fortunately, Dungey seems to excel in high tension crux matches and he did exactly so at the Spring Creek National. Similar to the previous wins of this season, Dungey had another convincing win at the Spring Creek National with a dominant outing throughout the moto matches. Gaining on the awesome starts in both the motos, Dungey was able to sweep away victories in both the moto matches once again leaving no chance for any other competitor to taste win in any of the motos.
Dungey arrived at Millville with four back-to-back wins and was eyeing on the fifth one. No doubt he was full of confidence and momentum. He maintained an impeccable speed throughout the event and delivered a power packed performance. Though Dungey faced some challenges from Mike Alessi of team MotoConcepts Suzuki early on in the motos, Dungey showed great skills and caliber to go pass Alessi in the crunch moments of the event. Alessi took the second podium position with a score of 3-2 in the motos. Kawasaki’s Jake Weimer captured the final podium position with a 2-3 finish in the motos.
